Note from Peter Coburn.
On the 26 th of March I stood at our front door and applauded with what seemed to be everyone in
the street, showing our appreciation for the indescribable efforts that the nurses, doctors, auxiliaries
and numerous other people are making to try and help those most affected by this Coronavirus. I’m
not ashamed to say I was actually moved as it brought home to me that I was standing with people I
have never met before, applauding to recognise some of the most important people in life, an act
being replicated in various forms across the world. Just maybe, going forward we will now respect
and understand the important ones in life. I wrote this song the next morning and got in touch with
Mike who has taken a very basic tune and turned it into a song with his own amazing talents, the
incredible voice of Amy Montgomery and the beautiful Cello of Laura McFadden.
www.helpMusicians.org Charity –
During this difficult time it has been heart warming to see so many
people, organisations and charities step up to help their communities. As we stay home to keep
everyone safe, many musicians, who have had to cancel shows and concerts, have lost their only
form of income.
www.helpmusicians.org support musicians in times of crisis and do not receive any
Government funding. We would love you to support this track – by buying the track, or if you wish,
by making an additional donation when you buy the download. Either way we hope you enjoy it.
Take care and keep safe. (100% of funds received will go to the charity)
